James Moore commenced business in April of 1972 with a JCB digger. Within one year they had completed their first road scheme in April 1973. The business continued to grow and their first million-pound project of the Ballymoney Bypass was completed in 1979. After completing this project, they diversified into heavier civil engineering and completed their first reservoir in July 1981.
In the early 80’s the company took the decision to expand into major road works and specialised in large motorway projects. In the late 80’s they were pleased to be a major player in the Channel Tunnel project being responsible for the infill and construction of the rail platforms of the Folkestone terminals.
During the 90’s JME continued to complete motorway contracts all over the UK and Ireland and in more recent years specialising in infrastructure for housing, which brings us to where we are today, building homes with over 50 years of experience in the construction industry.
The team at JME developments over the last few years has dedicated their time to constructing quality homes and plan to do so for the foreseeable future.
